Cancellation & Refund Policy

At HowToTellYourChild, we’re committed to delivering high-quality educational resources and services. Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully before placing any order or booking a counselling session.
 

1. Product Orders (Books, Videos, and Kits)

a. Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placing them, as long as the order has not been processed or shipped.

  • To cancel, please email us immediately at [Insert Email ID] with your order number.

b. Refunds & Returns

  • We offer replacements only in case the product is:

    • Damaged during shipping

    • Incorrect item delivered

    • Missing items in the shipment

To be eligible:

  • Raise a complaint within 48 hours of delivery

  • Share images of the packaging and product

  • Return the unused product in its original condition (if applicable)

Note:
Refunds are not applicable for:

  • Buyer’s remorse (e.g., “I changed my mind”)

  • Used or opened products

  • Digital content (videos, PDFs, downloads)

2. Counselling Sessions

a. Cancellations

  • You may cancel or reschedule your counselling session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.

b. No Show

  • If you miss your session without prior notice, it will be marked as a no-show and will not be refunded or rescheduled.

c. Rescheduling

  • You can reschedule your session once at no additional cost if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

3. Refund Processing

If your refund is approved:

  • It will be processed within 7–10 business days

  • Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment

  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, we will request your bank details for the refund
