Cancellation & Refund Policy
At HowToTellYourChild, we’re committed to delivering high-quality educational resources and services. Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully before placing any order or booking a counselling session.
1. Product Orders (Books, Videos, and Kits)
a. Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placing them, as long as the order has not been processed or shipped.

b. Refunds & Returns

We offer replacements only in case the product is:

Damaged during shipping

Incorrect item delivered

Missing items in the shipment

To be eligible:

Raise a complaint within 48 hours of delivery

Share images of the packaging and product

Return the unused product in its original condition (if applicable)
Note:
Refunds are not applicable for:

Buyer’s remorse (e.g., “I changed my mind”)

Used or opened products

Digital content (videos, PDFs, downloads)
2. Counselling Sessions
a. Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule your counselling session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.
b. No Show

If you miss your session without prior notice, it will be marked as a no-show and will not be refunded or rescheduled.
c. Rescheduling

You can reschedule your session once at no additional cost if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
3. Refund Processing
If your refund is approved:

It will be processed within 7–10 business days

Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, we will request your bank details for the refund
